Slovakei: Radieschen
Deutschland: Petersilie
Spanien: Salat
Italien: Tomate

Bis bald, bleibt gesund!

The Garden Team

It is necessary to understand, that the school is the place where children spend most of their time.

Therefore the school should be an institution which will prepare students for labour market requests where digital skills, multi-platform computer literacy and also knowledge of foreign languages mainly English and its use in everyday situations is necessary. We want to develop the pupils’ environmental awareness, positive attitude to physical work, national identity through building school gardens and growing national crops. The understanding of climate differences and dependence in different EU countries and also inside one country is also the aim of this project. We want to teach the pupils the vegetation cycle of the plants through the growing of the crops which are typical for the country and then their processing and preparing national food. The creation of international cookery book with tutorials, photo documentation focus on preparation of the national food from different countries will be helpful for increasing pupils’ awareness in the area of national pride and also for showing the multicultural differences and the possibility of their reconciliation. We plan to support the exchange of information and experiences among partner schools, European integrity and implementation of multicultural issues into school environment through creating digital content about agricultural and horticultural issues related to growing national crops.

The aim of project activities is the formation of prosocial behaviour and feelings, that they will know how to react on changes of social environment in Europe because of immigration. The work on project activities should lead our pupils to respect for the principle of equality among people all around the world.

Innovation of the project is as follow:

  • implementation of the experience, motivation, self-regulation and creative methods with the focus on development of the cognitive abilities and abilities to work with information

  • support for multiculturalism and development of the knowledge about European dimension of the schools, increasing of national awareness

  • connection pupils with nature and increasing their knowledge in the area of environmental problems, healthy lifestyle and getting experiences and habits

  • creation of the positive attitude to the work and nature

  • inspiration for future occupation and employment, for the labour market in the area of food self - sufficiency

  • use of ICT in agriculture by using digital "senseBox" to measure  and gather clima and environment data https://sensebox.de/en/

  • increasing of digital literacy and use of ICT in everyday life
